PUR pipe insulation - insulation pipes are a type of insulation for pipe systems that is made of rigid polyurethane foam. This material is a highly effective insulator due to its low thermal conductivity λ≤0.021(W/mK), which means that it can effectively prevent heat loss or gain in the pipe system. Insulation pipes are widely used in various industrial sectors, including heating systems, cooling systems and liquid transportation. These pipes offer a high level of energy efficiency, reduce the overall energy consumption of the pipe system and help save money in the long run.
Insulation pipes can be single-layer or double-layer. Double-layer insulation prevents the formation of thermal bridges.
